Re: Deprecate debs for 0.9.22

 

The .DEB installer on the download page has been updated to Version 0.9.34.
I'm not going to blog about the update quite yet.  Let's see if this new
installer causes any big issues first. =)  It's quite a bit different than
the previous one.  It has an improved "postinst" file, the new re-factored
folder structure, a new bin file, a new location (/usr/share instead of
/usr/local/share), and includes all of the mime, man, pixmaps, and other
installation files.  It also includes the 7 most common language packs.

I tested this locally, and in VirtualBox (on a clean Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit
system).  It seemed to work great, so cross your fingers.
