After installing the brand new version of OpenShot from Launchpad it seems, that the problem doesn't exist anymore.
Maybe I've got the time to test it at the weekend a little bit more ...

Hello,

when I add a jpg picture to the project I get a strange picture with green and red colors (see attached screenshot)

I am using Kubuntu 9.04, Openshot is installed via PPA (Version 0.9.42)
