Re: an video application by default in lucid !

Hi Andy and Jonathan

I'm agree totaly with you. Pititvi is developped since 5 .........years !
And what result when we have seen the Openshot evolution in one year and an
half !!!!

Gimp is my prefer software and it's thanks to him (and framasoft and kaella
too) that i'm here. It''s a very worse decision and like Jonathan had said
he is very difficult to install, beside Fspot. It's incomprehensible
decision. I have planned to create two tutorials (and began for the first)
the first for Gimp (a menu for chiristmas) and the second for Openshot (how
have a film without advertising when you use a DVB-T card and the all on
Ubuntu).
A last word on Fspot. On in internet since few week we see a lot of
applications created for replace them who are created with mono. (gnote
->tomboy, songla->fspot, etc ...) It's ilogical. I hope that the communiaty
shout strongly and they hear her.

* Hopefully as our community gets bigger and our product gets better, the
public will demand OpenShot. That will be the day. =)*
Yes i'm agree with that but people want to have a version for
.........Jaunty. For Interpy and hardy they understand. This article and
this Andy are interresting because we can see what people think about the
project. Our strenghts and weeknasses are explained and it's interresting
for us because we have none objective opinion.

*Olivier - I will be linking to your blog and Andy's new OpenShotUsers
website soon. I will write up an article about them, and make a perminent
link to them on my website. It just might take a few days before I get
around to it. =)*
Ok after it will be the big rush, now we are nearly ready and we are
changing of step.

Cheers

Olivier
