[Bug 439465] Re: wishlist - import of kdenlive project files
MLT natively already loads kdenlive files because they are simply an
extension of MLT XML. To see what I mean, create one in kdenlive and
then 'melt the.kdenlive' and it plays. So, all you need to do load a
kdenlive file as a clip (not a project) is to not prevent it from being
loaded. Same goes for Kino SMIL XML, which again, is already natively
supported by MLT.

Bug description:
Pitivi, and openshot kdenlive are three non-linear editor, two of them even use the same framework (MLT).
Being useful software for the same purpose (video editing) should use a common project file format.
