Title:
openshot crashed with SIGSEGV in mlt_frame_get_image()

Status in “openshot” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: openshot

Was busy editing a rather large MPEG2 file (2GB), splitting it up over 10+ tracks. Since OpenShot can't export individual tracks / parts of video, I decided to mute all tracks except for the one I was working on and let all of them start from TC 00:00:00.00. So when I want to export a certain piece of the large video, I simply unmute it's track, mute al others and then export.
When I added track 11 and moved the to-be-chopped-up part of the large file back to the beginning of the timeline, OpenShot crashed as soon as I pressed the spacebar. This has happened almost every time again when I followed the steps above (which, unfortunately, I have to do quite often).
