[Bug 878878] Re: preview window shows incorrect frames
I suspect this is due to incomplete ogg support in ffmpeg.
You could try converting the file to another format. Also, please see

preview window shows incorrect frames

Bug description:
Preview window is not displaying correctly it starts 4+ seconds in on
my .ogv clips when it gets to them in the timeline and then stalls,
not moving from that frame for a few seconds. When it gets towards the
end of the preview it does pretty much the same thing it gets stuck on
a frame that shouldn't have even showed yet and displays that for the
remainder of the duration. Manually advancing or choosing the spot on
the timeline seems to have no effect as it will just show the stuck
frames.
