Hi core team,

Firstly, my apologies for sending this out a bit late. However, welcome to the first core team review for 2016.

Here's the core reviewer stats for this month[1]:

Current cores not appearing in any stats:
Alexander Adamov

I have spoken to Alexander in private. As this is his fourth appearance in this list, I recommend he is dropped from the core team for now. He is always welcome to rejoin core at a later date, when he has more time to commit. Being core is a tough position, and when it becomes more of a chore than a privilege, it's time to take a breather. I'd like to sincerely thank Alexander for his time as core.

Zhu Rong (Contributions only)
venkatamahesh (30 and 90 day reviews)

Anne and I have both spoken to Mahesh over the past few days. He is very keen to become a core team member, and we have spent some time looking at his reviews and contributions, and also  talking to a few of the existing cores. At this stage, the consensus seems to be that Mahesh needs to improve the quality of his reviews and contributions. Please keep an eye out for him, and gently aid him in this. 

My recommendation for September is:
