Probably some work to support Xen, but should work for building KVM images.

Looks like precise isn't added to the templates yet, but that should be a
solvable problem.
I'm sure Patrick Debois would be willing to answer any questions. I'm not
positive, but I believe he'd probably think a glance or s3
registration/integration is a good idea too.
Let me know if that looks like something in the direction of where you
think you want to go.
