This is what i find inside my vms:

domain novalocal
> search novalocal
> nameserver 10.0.8.1


I believe the name resolution is working (see output bellow from the ping
command), but the vm's seem unable to access the ip.

> ping www.google.com
> PING www.l.google.com (74.125.230.16) 56(84) bytes of data.
