DB Migrations - switch to Alembic

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has tested using alembic as a tool for
OpenStack projects instead of SQLA Migrate?

I'm wanting to use alembic for new projects (Moniker and Bufunfa) instead
of migrate if possible.
