I am trying ceilometer to get volume usage. But in statistics, I am getting volume usage duration only after deleting the volume. But before deleting I am not getting any duration of usage. It is always 0 if volume is not deleted. I have triedvolume and volume.size meters.

I have following questions.....

Is it always 0 if volume is not deleted?

If it is so, How can I get duration of volume usage from statistics?

Is there a possibility, when volume is deleted or volume is created but ceilometer doesn't receives the notification? How frequent these cases can occur?
