Hi Jake, we are working on refactoring the documentation to avoid the
"jumps all over the place" feedback we've received. But with OpenStack you
also need to know your goals so that you can make some good decisions with
the considerations the docs give you. That's why we'll ask for more
specifics. What do you want to do with OpenStack? At what scale?

The Operations Guide at http://docs.openstack.org/ops/ is a good starting
point.
