I took the packages from Karmic and uploaded them to the testing ppa
https://edge.launchpad.net/~openstreetmap/+archive/testing

I also had to update some dependencies, namely boost, libtool, and proj.
I haven't used mapnik for now, so I don't know if the packages have work
as expected. Please try it out and tell me if you find any problems. If
it works, I will copy the packages to the main openstreetmap ppa.
