Hi Ignacio,

we never experienced any problems with this.

Note that the library is not used while generating records, but when
performing the communicating with an instance of an older version of
OpenERP so you may still encounter a problem when executing this step if
the library is not accessible in the OpenERP environment. Just to be
sure, you did restart OpenERP after installing the library?
