In principle you're right, --update=base causes the update to only run
for the base module. In practice, there will be all kinds of weird
interections, especially with the base module.

The partial log you posted is not very helpful to me, what you can do is
delete the view the first log mentions (view_crm_partner_info_History)
and see how far it goes. If it chokes on other views, delete them too.

But don't expect to be able to do much with your base-migrated database
afterwards, all the unmigrated modules will give you a lot of
exceptions.
