Title:
Configuration in /etc/orchestra/import_isos unused
Status in “orchestra” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
orchestra-import-isos sources /etc/orchestra/import_isos for various
data it uses when importing new distros and created the initial
profiles. All of the values are commented out and the hard-coded
defaults of orchestra-import-isos is used. The script fires off
automatically in the background during package installatoin. There is
no way to later modify configuration in this file and have its changed
updated within cobbler, other than deleting all distros and profiles
from cobbler (and consequently all registered systems) and re-runing
the import script.
== Discussion ==
After a brief discussion with adam_g, orchestra-import-isos is lacking
the support to update *profiles* with settings changed in the config
file. This means not to re-import the isos, but rather, update
profiles and do other related operations. It should provide an
--update-profiles option.
orchestra-import-isos --update-profiles
