[Bug 898697] Re: automatic importing of isos should be configurable
Hi Scott,
A debconf question has already been added to determine whether we want
this to be run during installation or not. I believe this addresses your
concerns.
Additionally, it also supports the sourcing from a confic file to change
different options, which also include what releases to import.
Given this, I'm closing this bug report.
Thanks!

Title:
automatic importing of isos should be configurable
Status in “orchestra” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
debian/ubuntu-orchestra-provisioning-server.postinst has
run-one orchestra-import-isos >/dev/null 2>&1 &
That imports the isos on installation of orchestra-provisioning-server.
This is a nice feature, but leaves the resultant orchestra in an indeterminable state.
We should add options to at
* disable this, so the user can then run it manually and wait for it to finish
* not background, blocking the postinst until that is done.
At very least it should be preseedable to say "dont do it".
