Just looking for a normal forum. Mostly to allow everyone to talk about OSDF issues in a slightly more organized fashion than /r/rpac. =)

But, thinking about it, it could be used by other departments to manage their tasks too.... One way:

Create a sub-subforum of tasks to be done in the subforum for the department (like our bugs and blueprints). People log in, look at the list, and offer to help with something. When it gets assigned, the post gets "stickied", meaning someone is working on it. (I like this because it's a built in ongoing thread about the task in question). When the task is done, the post gets moved to an archival area. Rinse, repeat.

The other departments will need to figure out how exactly that would work... I'm trying to come up with a variety of solutions so that they can latch onto one and self organize around what works for them.
