Kind of depends on what needs *exactly* we're needing that we feel
we're not currently getting from Launchpad. Perhaps it may be best to
fork this discussion into a new thread and discuss those specifically?
Maybe even include in this discussion some specific links into the
Launchpad documentation? https://help.launchpad.net/

I'll admit, such a discussion would be helpful to me. I've used *many*
other services like Launchpad in the past (Sourceforge, GNU's
Savannah, Codeplex, Google Code, as well as run my own with tools
ranging from simple Trac/Redmines to more complex Project Open) but my
exposure to Launchpad has been minimal (I've filed bugs with Ubuntu
and other Launchpad projects, but that's about it :-)

Point is, there's features there that probably a lot of us don't know
about until we start asking and searching for them.

And who knows, maybe we will find that one missing critical feature we
*absolutely* cannot do without that we will have to go elsewhere for.
