Dear all:
This message is just to let you know that a new member is joining the
mailing list.
My name is Roberto Siqueira and I am a Brazilian physicist. I
presently work for a scientific research lab in France, occupying the
position of hardware/software engineer (more info here: http://www.lmtg
.obs-mip.fr/user/SIQUEIRA).
When visiting the excellent: http://www.br-linux.org/ website I
discovered that the *OpenEHR Brazil* group was recruiting "remote"
Python/Zope/Grok programmers and decided to apply. I've been programming
in Python since 2001 and have good experience with both Zope and XML
processing. I am also a long time "free sofware" advocate, proudly
running my laboratory's mixed environment (4 Macs + 4 PCs) 100% on
GNU/Linux (Debian/Ubuntu flavor).
Concerning the OSHIP trunk, I already have a "up and running"
oship/Grok virtualenv (installed on a Ubuntu Hardy machine, as explained
here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGrok and here:
https://answers.launchpad.net/oship/+faq/391) and succeeded to go up to
the "Blood Pressure" demo. Now, I count on you to show me what to do
next.
Actually, a good way I found to start contributing to free software
projects is by doing the pt_BR translation; however, in this particular
case, I suppose that I have no choice but taking care of the fr_FR
version, at least until a native French speaker shows up...
My best regards,
Roberto.
