OSHIP Status

The ADL2PY branch is moving along nicely.

The translators are doing a superb job as usual.

I have been busy setting up Launchpad for better project management.
Working on the dependency tree for blueprints etc.

I would also like to note that I have completed the codereview for the
datatypes module. I created bug reports along the way for each issue
that I found. The question is; does this make it easier for other
developers to get their head around what needs to be worked on? Does
this give you a concrete idea of something that you can accomplish?

If I get a positive response to this then I will do the other code
reviews and create bug reports.

The documentation that is referenced in the bug reports is available on
the openEHR website at:
http://www.openehr.org/releases/1.0.2/roadmap.html

and I have also included them in the OSHIP docs directory. They are
currently only in the adl2py branch but will be merged to the trunk next
week.

I have fixed the two bugs reported on the adl2py branch.

The adl2py branch also includes an OSHIP Application Developers guide
draft that I think will help each of you understand OSHIP a bit better
as well. I will also be drafting an OSHIP Developers guide that
describes the internals a bit more.

There will also be an OSHIP Developers Agreement form that I will ask
you to add a graphic signature or (preferably) return signed using a
GPG/PGP public key via email. Basically it says that you are
contributing your code to the OSHIP project and you understand that it
is licensed under the Mozilla Public License 1.1 (aka. the MPL
tri-license). This is consistent with all of the other openEHR source
code.

Thanks for your time spent on the OSHIP project.

Cheers,
Tim
