Re: The trunk repository is missing

Hello everybody,

Sorry for the late reply, but at least the Brazilian team knows about the floading tragedy that we have experienced since last week here in Rio metropolitan area. Fortunately nothing happened to me directly, but we had a lockout in lots of parts of our infrastructure, and I was doing volunteer work in some places. I am aware of the problem on the branch since last week. Checking the commitment history, the last one was #395 and it was commited by Eduardo César. Can we consider it as the latest version? But the best thing to do is to have one of the administrators creating the branch. I can do that, but I don't have that latest version of the code. But then Eduardo César could push his code on it after I create the branch.
Is it OK for everybody?
Eduardo, is it OK for you to push your code after I create the new branch?

Last question: what's the name you guys this branch is supposed to have?

[Almost PS 1: Justin, I know I owe you a reply for your last e-mail. That will be provided no later than next weekend.]

[Almost PS 2: Sorry Roger, for the wrong forward.]

Thank you everybody - the show must go on!

Cheers, Luciana.

Hi Diego,

thanks for notifying all of us. I also tried my luck about this
disappearance in the #launchpad IRC channel, where I was told that a
missing branch due to an upgrade of Launchpad was 'extremely
unlikely'. Maybe someone of the oship-developers pushed the 'Delete
branch' button. I'm curious what feedback you'll get...

Anyway, right now it's hard to find out who to blame, so the best we
can do indeed is to find out who has the most recent personal
check-out of the main branch and make his the new main branch.
Maybe we need to wait a few more days as some fellow developers are
probably enjoying a well-earned Easter-vacation. I think we should
coordinate this with Eduardo, Sergio, and Wagner since these fellows
are the most active developers.

Cheers,

Roger

Hi all,

I'd talk about a thing that I suppose nobody notices: the trunk bazaar
repository of the project is missing! When I detect the problem, I sent a
e-mail to launchpad support. So, now I'm waiting for feedback to see what's
happened.
Have you ever seen this before? On my point of view the repository missing
could be disappeared at the last launchpad application update. It was some
days ago.
Anyway, I did a personal branch of the project some weeks ago, when my
recent code changes are. If the repository cannot be recovered, I can copy
this branch as a new trunk, if nobody already have a branch of the
repository to submit.

Ps: This e-mail is only a advice. Don't worry about that: for a while, no
harm done. :)
