[Bug 972718] Re: Podcast feed rendered invisible if all episodes are deleted
Comment from the developer:
"This is tricky to fix. The podcast feed list is built by gathering the
podcast feeds from the results of an episode query, and there's no
convenient place to add extra feeds that don't have any episodes. I'm
intending to do something about this soon, either as part of a
redesign of the podcast UI or just by doing bad things to the query.
I'll think about how to do the latter and maybe we can work out a
short term fix."

Title:
Podcast feed rendered invisible if all episodes are deleted
Status in One Hundred Paper Cuts:
Confirmed
Status in The Rhythmbox Music Management Application:
Confirmed
Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
There is absolutely No way in Rhythmbox 2.96 to see the *full* list of
podcasts added (very important when upgrading from one [Ubuntu]
version to another & ofas a "reminder" at other times). The only way
to find out if a podcast is succesfully subscribed [or forgotten to be
added in the first place] is to wait for a new episode... or *fail* to
download the episode because one has "No way in Rhythmbox 2.96 to see
*full* list of podcast subscriptions".
