The YouTube API
(http://code.google.com/intl/fr/apis/youtube/1.0/developers_guide_python.html)
doesn't have the possibility to separate subtitles and videos. If you
have links to do that, I'm ready to try the development of this feature.

Some Youtube videos can display subtitles :

Some Dailymotion videos too : 
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6skw6_james-kotecki-les-craneurs

Totem can "connect" on Youtube, search a video, and then display it. I don't think Perroquet need to search for a vidéo, however importing video+subtitles from youtube or Dailymotion could be nice.
