There may be a problem with the username/password you are actually
using. Are there any odd/non-standard characters you are using in the
fields?

Also, if you know how, please post the actually database.users user row
from the mysql console (or phpmyadmin). ONLY DO THIS IF THE PASSWORD
FIELD LOOKS ENCRYPTED. If it doesn't, that's the issue, and we'll need
to dive deeper.
