[Bug 404272] Re: FTBFS: tests failed

We are past Feature Freeze, and since dh-make-perl has had a fair number
of changes to the debian/rules file and to its dependencies (much more
than just bug fixes), I think an ACK from motu-release would be
appropriate. I am subscribing motu-release and unsubscribing ubuntu-
universe-sponsors.

I have tested version .059, and I have confirmed that it fixes this
FTBFS issue. It also appears to be working fine from the testing I have
done. I will give a +1 for syncing 0.59

** Changed in: dh-make-perl (Ubuntu)
       Status: Confirmed => New

** Summary changed:

- FTBFS: tests failed
+ FFe Request: Sync dh-make-perl 0.59 (universe) from Debian unstable (main) to fix FTBFS

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: dh-make-perl

There is an FTBFS in dh-make-perl, it fails during some test. Here's a
link to the build failure on Launchpad:

  make-perl_0.57_FAILEDTOBUILD.txt.gz

Thanks to Nathan Handler, he pointed out that this problem also exists
in Debian, so I will link this bug to Debian's
