Attached are patches for Lucid and Karmic.  The patch to
lib/MediaWiki.pm is identical to the one introduced in Debian.

See the Debian bug report for how to test the patch.

The package should be removed for Maverick (it has already been removed
>From Debian).  There are better alternatives such as
libmediawiki-api-perl.
