Shutter has not been maintained for years and uses obsolete libraries.
On Debian side, we are considering removing shutter from Debian despite
its usefulness and popularity. See https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-

So, jerther, feel free to step in. I don't think anyone will complain if
shutter gets a new active maintainer.
