Looks like you are missing a dependency:

WARNING: Gtk2::AppIndicator is missing --> there will be no icon showing
up in the status bar when running Unity!

Looks like it has been removed from Bionic recently, like libgoo-canvas-
perl has been: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/bionic/i386/libgtk2
