It seems that the problem is that the builds are failing due to test
failures which were fixed in the source repository, and then in the
Debian package.

Given that DBD::MariaDB is more reliable for UTF-8 handling than
DBD::mysql, getting this package to build on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (Jammy
Jellyfish) would be very nice.
