Status in Puredyne liveCD/DVD/USB/HD: New

Bug description:
Mixxx no longer connects to jack, and complains that sound card is busy (if jack's running).

Repro:

1) launch jack, config for hardware (via ALSA).
2) launch mixxx, receive "Sound Device Busy" dialog
) Select "Reconfigure"
3) in mixxx: Sound Hardware->Audio Output->Sound API (listbox)... doesn't list JACK Audio Connection Kit (even though jack is running and other apps bind to it).

ALSA owns the hardware, JACK owns ALSA, so mixxx doesn't play well with others, and latency would probably be higher w/o jack.
