we'll use slim login manager (http://slim.berlios.de). waiting for svg's
to create a custom theme and the package build in my ppa, then need to
commit the changes in broth, booooooooooooooom

Bug description:
It's a bit of a painful bloat because we are only using it for autologin into XFCE, and then it stays in memory. Better use xdm, or better boot straight into XFCE from init script.
The latest would be the best but how then this would influence installations made with ubiquity later on?
