Status in Puredyne liveCD/DVD/USB/HD: In Progress

Bug description:
New syslinux can use PNG files as splashscreen (works great, tested in craftivism branch). It's more pretty and much easier to generate than the RLE format.

Current splash screen sources must be put in the doc branch and a new splash screen must be generated.
