Status in Puredyne liveCD/DVD/USB/HD: New

Bug description:
mixxx 1.7.2 in the 9.11 usb key seems not to work on my eee701. i can scan a library for some files, and when I drop an ogg into the wave window it shows the wave visually, but will not play back. i press the pause/play button and hear no sound, nor does the wave view move along.

tried this both with alsa (default) interface, and with jack (by starting jack first, then mixxx)

also tried with an aiff.

scrolling the wave view manually doesn't work either (it should seek into the file)
