I spoke with Yves and the problem is that he does not have time to 
update the code for pdp_theonice~ to work with the latest libtheora.

If you are desperate to run Pd with pdp_theonice~, then you should stick
with the 'Hardy' based Saha'buntu live CD for GISS.

If someone can compile pidip with a static link to the working libtheora
on maverick and this solves all the problems, then let us know.

  theonice~ crashing pd

Status in Puredyne liveCD/DVD/USB/HD:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  i can't really be 100% sure cause i dont have a second machine right
  here to test the same patch but under puredyne the bugy
  [pdp_theonice~] crashes pd when one sends the connect command. Im
  using a patch suggested by the developer of the object so it could
  well be the object in puredyne. please test.
