[Bug 811557] Re: ubuiqity does not create new user
Just tried http://puredyne.restruct.org/gazpacho/puredyne-1010-gazpacho-
CD-i386-beta.iso
Same problem.
Upon booting from LIve CD, it says "pwconv: failed to change the mode of
/etc/passwd- to 0600
Then, booting from the installed partition, it says it cannot read "/etc/udev/rules.d/z80-user.rules"
However I doubt that's an issue since my working Puredyne 9.10 (or 9.11?) has this same warning upon boot.
I'm currently trying to find what files I need to change on this
partition in order for this to work.
Anybody know?

Bug description:
having fixed the installer - i now see that no new user gets created
once the system is installed - having entered username and password as
part of the install process, this information does not get used and
the system is left with one user autologing in - lintian
