Re: [Question #129872]: Manual, howto for 0.5?
Question #129872 on pyneighborhood changed:

Linus Hoppe posted a new comment:
Okay :) There are several options to configure pyneighborhood (in 0.5.3
(which will be released in a few days) we have optimized and simplified
the options-structure). This explanation is only for 0.5.2.
With SMB, you can protect shares with a passwort (and a username). In
the options-window, you can define a default-username and -password.
Pyneighborhood will try this combination if a share is protected.
In the area "network" under the point "lookup" you can cange the path to
the smb-binaries of your distributions.
After mounting a share, pyNeighborhood can start a filemanager and open
the mounted share. For this, you can define your filemanger you want to
use (under Ubuntu, this would be nautilus).
For mounting, you need to have root-rights. For getting these
permissions, you can use sudo and specify the path.
In the area "filesystems" you can select your mountpoint (where your
share will be mounted).
