It seems that reconfig_job() only works on Freestyle projects. If the
project is a Maven project, Multi-configuration project, or a Multi-job
project, (I haven't tested the rest), then the reconfig_job() call will
fail with the HTTP 500 error.


My Jenkins version == 2.46.3

Title:
  create_job fails

Status in Python Jenkins:
  Expired

Bug description:
  When I try to create new job from an existing xml file (downloaded from another job) I get the following error
  "Error in request. Possibly authentication failed [500]: Server Error"

  I use login through AD

  method copy job works ok

  I can see that DEFAULT_HEADERS is {'Content-Type': 'text/xml;
  charset=utf-8'} but according to jenkins api REST it should be
  application/xml for creat job

  I have tried to change it to this but with no success
