Hello,

I just tested it running the latest code from trunk (which did not see
any direct changes in this regard) and simply touching the file seems
enough to trigger a refresh. One thing you could check is whether a
changed "autoRefreshTimeout" somehow landed in your configuration file
at "~/.config/qpdfview/qpdfview.conf" (it is a hidden setting and should
not be have been set by the application itself) or you could try to find
out whether Qt is missing some library that it needs to to monitor the
file system. (Is it built against Qt version 4 or 5?)

Thing to consider for further diagnosis are whether it happens with all
files? Did you try paths with or without special characters or
whitespace?
