https://answers.launchpad.net/qpdfview/+question/241362

John Angelico gave more information on the question:
Hi Silvan and thanks for the feedback.

Here is the section of Install.OS2 with my answers:
Qpdfview 0.4.7 GA installation

2. REQUIREMENTS
===============
The following requirements need to be installed.
2.1 kLIBC, GCC4Core, Qt4, Zlib, cups
------------------------------------

kLIBC
-----
  1. yum install libc
LIBC065.DLL installed already by WarpIn with GCC322.DLL

GCC4Core
--------
  1. yum install libgcc4*
  2. yum install gcc-stack-protector
  3. yum install gcc-stdc++-shared-library
  4. yum install gcc-supc++-shared-library
GCC4 Core installed by WarpIn

Qt4 dll
-------
  1. yum install libqt4
QT4 installed and running with various apps

  2. Install the xsystray plugin as noted in the readme.os2 and also in
     readme.xsystray
xsystray plugin NOT installed. I don't use E-Center

Zlib
----
  1. yum install zlib
Z.DLL installed

Jpeg
----
  1. yum install libjpeg
JPEG.DLL installed

djvulibre
---------
DJVU.DLL installed

cups
----
Installed separately

freetype/fontconfig
-------------------
Installed separately

ghstscript
----------
Installed separately - using GSView for OS/2 which reads .ps files fine
Ghostscript v9.04

pthread
-------
  1. yum install pthread
PTHREAD.DLL installed

3. INSTALLATION
===============
To install qpdfview, do the following:

  1. Create a directory for qpdfview.
D:\QT4\QPDFVIEW-0_4_7-GA

  2. Extract the qpdfview package to the new directory.
Done
  3. Create a WPS object for qdpfview.exe.
Done
  4. Start qdpfview
  5. Happy using it
Most of the time
  6. If you want to use qpdfview from within a browser, you have to copy
popp*.dll and tiff.dll to the libpath eg. x:\ecs\dll
All DLLs copied to LIBPATH folder "D:\EXTRADLL" including qpdfps.dll
Haven't really tried to view in Firefox 17.05 beta

If you have tried to open a file and not all requirements have been there at
this try, Qt screwed his plugin cache.
To overcome that delete %HOME%/.config/Trolltech.ini. It will be created again
when a Qt app starts.

NOT done. Only problem is with .ps plugin message. Most files render
fine.

Optional: to have special fonts working you need poppler-data pack.
  - extract the 4 directories from the package found on http://poppler.freedesktop.org
to your %unixroot%/usr/local/share/poppler or to the dir where lucide.exe is installed
  - if you also want japanese fonts working, take care that the "Times New Roman WT J" font
is installed. This font is used as a fallback
NO special fonts required

Hope this is clear.
