The QSvgIconEngine::paint() uses "pixmap(rect.size(), mode, state)" and the strange problem occurs here:
s_settings->pageItem().progressIcon().isNull() returns false
s_settings->pageItem().progressIcon().pixmap(iconRect.toRect().size()).isNull() returns true!
s_settings->pageItem().progressIcon().availableSizes() returns empty list!!!
