Question #271955 on qpdfview changed:

    Status: Open => Answered

Adam Reichold proposed the following answer:
Hello again,

this is quite strange: I am using the latest code from trunk, also
running Xfce even though using a newer version of Qt5, yet I am still
unable to reproduce this...

Are you sure that qpdfview was completely stopped before deleting the
configuration files at "~/.config/qpdfview/"? Otherwise your changes
might have been overwritten. But then again, the application should
always start with a menu bar.

Could you also try to uncheck the "Toggle tool bars and menu bar with
fullscreen" setting on the "Interface" tab? Maybe there is some
unforeseen interaction of this setting with the keyboard shortcuts which
would then probably constitute a bug...

Concering the update to 0.4.14, if you are willing to help with tracking
this down, you could try building a previous version, i.e. 0.4.13, since
there have been some under-the-hoods UI changes in that version. You
could also try to install the latest dailydeb from [1] which is
Qt4-based to find out if there is some toolkit interaction involved?

Best regards, Adam.
