Below are a couple of features I would like to see.

In Firefox I do this..

In the address bar I enter... about:config

Then I enter…zoom.maxPercent

and set the value to...1500 (for 1,500% zoom)

Then I enter...toolkit.zoomManager.zoomValues
and set the values to….8,.9,1,1.2,1.5,2,2.5,3,3.5,4,4.25, 4.5, 4.75,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15

This allows me to zoom from 80% to 1500% in the zoom increments of my choosing.

It works great for me.
