Quickshot should not auto start in any language at the moment, I can not
reproduce you bug with the current build of the quickshot live cd.

We had to remove auto starting quickshot, because it causes language
detection problems. This is something that we are working on.

Steps to reproduce:

After the Quickshot user has been created, change users to quickshot and login with English. The Quickshot dialog appears automatically. Log out, change language, log back in. Quickshot doesn't start automatically - you have to find it in the (now translated) menus by looking for the icon.
