If you can confirm the bug with the package from ppa:qutim/qutim, create

Status in Multiplatform instant messenger:
  Fix Committed
Status in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Windows 7 x64, скриншот прилагается. Обновлялся с alpha-версии.
  Иконка появляется, если заменить библиотеку qutIM\bin\plugins\libtrayicon.dll на её версию из старой альфы.
