Title:
qutim should not simply ignore modifier keys
Status in Multiplatform instant messenger:
Invalid
Bug description:
If you press any key combination with modifiers that is not a
registered hotkey (and neither is a global system hotkey) qutIM adds
letters you've pressed silently ignoring modifiers.
For example, I press Meta+A. If nothing is associated with Meta+A
qutIM will read it as simply "A" and either insert it into chat box or
starts search (in contact list). It should completely ignore it,
however. Because I've never pressed just "A" and didn't intend to type
anything. "Meta+A" is not "A" even if there is no action registered
with it.
