Hey Kevin,

Happy you anwsering after my call on reddit, we would be proud to make ours 
ubuntu subreddits looking better with your mockup.

I beleive those are our steps:

* Try to adapt the mockup to be more orange (community) than aubergine 
(Canonical) (cf popeydc's comment and his link to the design color palette: 
http://www.reddit.com/r/ubuntu/comments/3nhz02/subreddit_design_idea/cvotc6r 
. Those subreddits, /r/ubuntuAppDev and /r/ubuntuFr tryed to do an orange 
theme, but it's so 2010 ;)

* Define what can be done by css, to have less images as possible

* Export all image to PNGs

* Define what image can fit a sprite (image that contains images, parsed in 
CSS) or not

* find a way to add unity shape on thumbnail, with custom design for text, 
video and others like failed thumbmail of web link and all, as seen on 
http://www.reddit.com/r/php

* find what css is already made by upstreams, like the buttons for example, 
they should already be officially implemented by the ubuntu sdk html5 
template

* Implement the CSS to fit at its best the mockup


So if you still want to help us, just pick something above you want to do 
for this project (I beleive the #1 and #3 would be great to be done with 
you)
