It seems that 1.6.5 beta2 works on Windows 7, but not on Vista and XP. 
Additionally, it works if Python is installed. For now I recommend using 
version 1.6.1 on Windows. In case you already updated, a complete 
deinstallation followed by installing 1.6.1 should fix your RedNotebook 
installation.
