Message #01305
[Bug 580540] [NEW] There's no way to disable "printer-applet"
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
I've notice that from a few time ago, a "printer applet" is being loaded
in the notify area. This applet creates a hidden icon.
If I order it to exit, sometimes it gets stuck.
The problem is: it gets reloaded every new KDE session.
Well, I don't have a printer, neither I intend to have one, in near ou
far time frame. So, I don't need a printer applet.
If I try to uninstall it, kde-full get uninstalled, breaking half of my
system.
I think that there should be a way to disable it --- and get disabled
until there is some motive to reenable it.
