Upstream update.  If anyone can confirm anything in either comments, it
might be helpful:

Bob Shanteau mentioned that after changing the Playback Profile group,
Edit Channel worked properly. Users wanting to test should probably try
the Slim Playback Profile group. Or, try changing just the deinterlacer
(from--my guess--bobdeint to something like linear or onefield) and see
if that prevents the issue.

Bug only happens if you have browse channels enabled. And it only
happens when you edit the channel after chaning from one channel to
another.
